Membership

Founder School Membership:
The following schools founded the Nordic Network in 1997:

  • Bladins International School, Malmø, Sweden
  • Copenhagen International School, Denmark
  • Oslo International School, Norway
  • Stockholm International School, Sweden
  • The International School of the Gothenburg Region, Sweden
  • The International School of Helsinki, Finland

Requirements:

  • Host the Annual Conference and an Administrators’ Conference on a rotational basis. 
  • Pay an annual membership fee. 
  • Be represented on the Steering Committee.

Regular Membership:


This is open to international schools that are located in the Nordic and Baltic regions and who are in agreement with the mission of the Nordic Network.  Regular Member schools should foster international mindedness amongst its community. Regular membership schools are required to pay an annual membership fee.  This will be in-line with Founder Schools.

Benefits:

  • A reduced rate to attend the Annual Conference 
  • Administrators may attend the Administrators Annual Conference free of charge
  • Schools are invited to propose presenters to the Annual Conference
  • Schools may apply to host the Annual Conference and/or the Administrators’ Annual Conference
  • Permission to use the Nordic Network logo

 

Associate Membership:


This is open to international schools that are located in the Nordic and Baltic regions and who are in agreement with the mission of the Nordic Network.  Associate Member schools should foster international mindedness amongst its community. Associate Membership schools will have no more than 100 students on roll.  Schools with over 100 students on roll will be asked to apply for Regular Membership.

Benefits:

  • There are no membership fees for Associate Membership
  • Administrators from Associate Membership schools may attend the annual Administrators forum free of charge should space permit
  • Permission to use the Nordic Network logo

Requirements:

  • Pay the full fees for the Annual Conference
  • Re-apply for membership every second academic year
