Membership

Founder School Membership:
This is restricted to the following schools:

• Bladins International School, Malmø, Sweden
• Copenhagen International School, Denmark
• Oslo International School, Norway
• Stockholm International School, Sweden
• The International School of the Gothenburg Region, Sweden

Regular Membership:
This is open to all schools that are located in the Nordic and Baltic regions and who are in agreement with the mission of the Nordic Network.  In addition they must provide a full elementary and/or secondary education in English  based on the following criteria:

• An international curriculum appropriate for an international community
• Have a student body and faculty of diverse nationalities
• Regular membership schools are not required to host the Annual conference.  This is the responsibility of the Founder Schools
• Regular membership schools have a reduced rate at the Annual Conference.  This will be in- line with the fee paid by Founder Schools
• Regular membership schools are required to pay an annual membership fee.  This will be in-line with Founder Schools
• Senior Administrators from Regular Membership schools may attend the Senior Administrators Annual Forum free of charge.
• Representatives from Regular Membership Schools are not permitted to sit on the Nordic Network Steering Committee or attend Steering Committee meetings
• Regular Membership schools are invited to send presenters to the Annual Conference

Associate Membership:
This is open to all schools located in the Nordic and Baltic regions who are in agreement with the mission of the Nordic Network.

• Associate Membership schools will have no more than 100 students on role
• There are no membership fees for Associate Membership
• Associate membership schools can be schools offering national programmes and teach in a language other than English, but who foster international mindedness amongst its community
• Representatives from Associate Membership schools are not permitted to sit on the Nordic Network Steering Committee or attend Steering Committee meetings
• Senior Administrators from Associate Membership schools may attend the annual Administrators forum free of charge should space permit
• There is not reduction in fees for the Annual Conference
• Schools will need to re-apply for membership each academic year
